A few months into 2020, nothing was going as planned for anyone. We were told to stay home, socialize online, and be responsible with our alcohol consumption.

We only took certain parts of this advice seriously.

We turned a vacant lot on our block into a community garden and gathering area, where we hosted socially-distant parties at least once a week. All those potluck dinners culminated in one momentous idea:

"This barbecue is too good to *not* be selling around here."

Several months and test-cooks later, we had combined our efforts to create a barbecue food truck - Best Damn Smoked Meats (BDSM BBQ) - in early 2022. But as you might guess, high-quality barbecue calls for high-quality sauces. We set to work crafting those sauces to complement everything on the menu perfectly.

That's how we got here - and our recipes have already been enjoyed by thousands of customers across the NE Ohio area.
